Enter DP Technology.
DP Technology is founded on the fact that our current scientific tools and computing methods have not been adequate in deepening our understanding of the microscopic world. Specifically, they have failed in predicting the behavior of complex molecular systems on multi-scale levels. This has resulted in a prolonged stagnation in the development of new materials, new drugs, new semiconductor frameworks, and beyond.
DP's scientist team, led by 2020 ACM Gordon Bell Prize winner, Princeton mathematician Dr. Zhang Linfeng, has successfully developed a framework of fusing current scientific methods (such as Density Functional Theory) with the latest tools in AI; accelerating it with GPU and cloud computing. Backed by the largest opensource community in AI4Science (DeepModeling), we have successfully demonstrated our unique capabilities in energy, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals with adoption by leading researchers from Princeton, UC Berkeley, CATL and many more.
With exciting research papers published in top journals every month, we are reaching out to the community in search of like-minded talents who see AI4Science as not just a lab project but a real chance to revolutionise how we research and how we invent. We are building a series of powerful yet easy-to-use tools to empower global scientists in their quest for next generation energy storage solutions, sub-1nm semiconductors, cancer curing medications and many more.

About the AI4S Research Scholar Program
Interning at DP offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with some of the world’s leading thinkers in artificial intelligence and its application in science. We offer hands-on experience working on exciting scientific and business-oriented projects with real world impacts, not just in a lab.
Research Scholars work closely with our research scientists on our ongoing projects in academia and industries. Research internships are open to candidates in AI/Data Science, Computer Science, Computational Physics/Chemistry/BiologyMaterial Science, Applied Math or related fields. Internships with our science team may also lead to return-offers to work with us full time.
